Referring to lie hibit @ 12 I find entry relating to No. 12 - "81.10, paid to theng On". There is no date for the entry. There is another entry - N° 12 $1.00, paid to theng On-current account". The characters "paid to thing On" appear to have been written and then Crossed out. There is no date for this entry. There is nothing on the paper to Show the date. Sam then has explanied to me these entries. I have endeavoured to check his explanations to the best of my ability. Cheng On has made a statement to the frown Solicitor in my presence. Jung Kam has made a statement to me. Theng On's name appears his own account in the pape: -eschibit C 12-as being in receipt of Certario moneys, and Jung Kam appears as the distributing agent for sums of money, as distributing them to other persons. The paper is written on both sides. The names

of payees are on both sides. The earlier part Contains names in numbers of persons in the Police Department and the latter part of miscellaneus persons. Cheng On and Tang Kam did not make their
